Job summary

SYSTRA in Saudi Arabia invites an experienced Lead Rolling Stock professional to lead the team delivering installation, testing, and commissioning of rolling stock and depot equipment systems. You will ensure projects meet budget and KPI targets while delivering safe, reliable vehicles and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or Business engineering)
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in metro system testing and commissioning
• Knowledge of rail engineering disciplines and systems
• Strong communication and group facilitation skills; fluent in English; Arabic preferred
• Ability to deploy processes and tools to increase efficiency and productivity; GCC experience desired

Responsibilities

• Oversee rail systems, infrastructure and rolling stock testing & commissioning activities and monitor subcontractors' work
• Review testing programs, procedures and reports for operation and maintenance needs
• Monitor various testing phases (Type, Performance, Routine, Dynamic, Final) and identify improvements
• Ensure designers and contractors deliver accurate system integration and testing outputs
• Coordinate interfaces with Platform Screen Doors, Signaling, SCADA and Power Supply
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of rolling stock and related features
• Liaise with other disciplines and contractors for proper integration and documentation
• Plan and schedule integration tests and report results to System Interface Managers
• Identify and implement corrective actions to reduce costs and improve lean processes
