Boston Consulting Group (BCG) invites an IT operations intern to join our Riyadh-area team. You’ll provide on-site support across PC, Mac, iOS, Android devices in home and office environments, assisting with day-to-day IT requests and asset management.

You report to the Local IT Manager and help implement projects, document procedures, and support video conferencing, telecoms, and imaging tasks. This 6-month internship offers exposure to global projects and fast-paced IT operations.

Qualifications

• Final-year university student eligible for COOP in January 2027
• Strong communication and customer service orientation
• Familiarity with Windows/macOS/Linux environments and IT basics

Responsabilités

• Provide on-site IT support for PC, Mac, iOS, Android devices in home and office environments
• Assist with 1st/2nd line IT support using Active Directory and related systems
• Log issues in ServiceNow and track resolutions
• Help document technical procedures and end-user guides
• Support video conferencing and telecom systems for key users
• Assist with preparing and deploying laptops and data migration
• Assist with hardware asset tracking and inventory management
• Support on global/local IT projects in an operational capacity
• Coordinate telecom services and SIM card requests with local providers

What You'll Do

As a natural people-person you play an important part of our IT operations team. You are responsible for prioritising and assisting in our day to day IT requests and issues, managing our IT assets and supporting implementation of projects with the team.

You report directly to the Local IT Manager and are able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, high-performing, service-orientated environment. You apply and interpret rules and guidelines flexibly to enrich the business and in keeping with BCG’s values and culture.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Providing on-site technology support in both home and office environments, over a variety of platforms and devices (e.g. PC, Mac, iOS, Android, etc.)
• Utilizing your knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Active Directory to provide 1st/2nd line IT support to our users
• Troubleshooting and logging any technical issues received via phone call or ticket in the IT Service Management tool Service Now
• Assisting with the documentation of critical and routine technical procedures as well as end user literature
• Troubleshoot video conference and telecommunications systems and support key users if required
• Assist in preparing and deploying laptops for staff, including all required user profile configuration and data migration
• Assist with hardware asset tracking and inventory management
• Assist on projects in an operational capacity for both global and local initiatives
• Provide support in managing telecom services, including assisting with SIM card requests, basic troubleshooting, and coordination with local providers and Webbing as per procedures.

What You'll Bring

• Final-year university student eligible for COOP in January 2027
• Ability to effectively communicate and present technical concepts to management, peer group and staff
• Ability to diagnose problems and provide solutions and/or escape to the appropriate expertise area
• Windows 11, Windows server, Mac OS, Microsoft Office 365 and Cloud file share support experience
• MS Teams/Zoom/WebEx meeting setup and basic troubleshooting experience
• Basic LAN and IP networking knowledge and ability to approach issues logically using OSI model or similar
• SCCM or imaging software experience
• Exposure to cloud technology
• VoIP experience
• Ability to use AI Tools such as ChatGPT with prompts
