Job summary

Gold Apple is seeking a detail-oriented Cashier and Categories Associate to deliver excellent customer service and ensure all sales are accurately recorded and processed in our busy retail store. You will greet customers, handle cash and card payments, reconcile cash drawers, maintain inventory records, restock shelves, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards while applying promotions.

This role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong math and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a positive shopping experience.
• Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
• Maintain cash drawer balances and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.
• Answer customer inquiries and address concerns.
• Ensure sales are recorded accurately in the system.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and restock shelves.
• Keep store clean and organized and maintain displays.
• Follow all company policies, including safety and security protocols.
