Job summary

Dubai Parks is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to supervise the daily activities of the Engineering Department team and ensure optimal operation of hotel systems. You will lead maintenance programs, oversee the JEMS platform, and coordinate with other departments to meet engineering requirements.

The role emphasizes safety compliance, contractor management, and clear technical communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in Engineering, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
• Health and Safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily activities of the Engineering Department supervisors and subordinates.
• Ensure property and assets are maintained through the Jumeirah Engineering Management System (JEMS).
• Monitor completed repair and maintenance works to ensure standards are met.
• Coordinate with hotel departments to address engineering requests and operational requirements in a timely manner.
• Monitor contractors, suppliers and external service providers for compliance with standards.
• Communicate engineering and project updates to internal departments and external entities.
• Ensure compliance with Engineering Department policies, processes, procedures and health and safety requirements.

Job description

Supervise and manage the daily activities of the Engineering Department supervisors and subordinates

Ensure that the property and assets are maintained in the highest order through the effective management of the Jumeirah Engineering Management System

Monitor completed repair and maintenance works to ensure that established standards have been met

Assist in the implementation coordination and monitoring of the JEMS Jumeirah Engineering Management System including the Fire Life and Safety Matrix PPM and Work Order Systems

Conduct regular inspections of the property and engineering systems to identify maintenance requirements and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken

Coordinate with relevant hotel departments to ensure engineering requests and operational requirements are addressed in a timely and effective manner

Monitor the performance of contractors suppliers and external service providers to ensure compliance with required standards

Communicate engineering and project updates to internal departments and external entities in a professional and timely manner

Ensure compliance with all relevant Engineering Department policies processes procedures and health and safety requirements

Qualifications
