Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Devices & IoT Field Engineering Manager based in Saudi Arabia. This leadership role focuses on Linux-driven embedded systems and connected devices, with responsibility for presales, architecture, and professional services.

You will lead a regional team of field engineers, coach engineers, drive engineering excellence, and translate complex technology into measurable business value while collaborating with customers, partners, and global

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Extensive embedded Linux experience with Yocto or similar.
Strong Linux expertise; Debian/Ubuntu familiarity is a plus.
Experience leading a small engineering/technical team.
Direct customer-facing experience in technical, consulting, or presales roles.
Ability to explain complex tech concepts and business value clearly.
Deep understanding of connected devices, IoT, edge computing.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a regional team of Field Engineers across presales and professional services.
Set objectives, priorities, and track progress toward goals.
Shape team strategy with leadership and manage organizational priorities.
Champion engineering excellence and disciplined processes.
Coach engineers and support technical and career development.
Act as trusted advisor to customers on Linux, IoT technologies, and solutions.
Collaborate with customers, partners, and global teams to deliver outcomes.
Travel internationally as required for events/engagements.
