Job summary

SME Careers is seeking an Arabic Quality Assurance Lead (QAL) for an hourly, remote contractor role. You will oversee quality, trainer performance, and Arabic content review across AI training projects. Your feedback will shape guidelines, with emphasis on linguistic accuracy, tone, and cultural context.

You will manage remote QA workflows, communicate updates via Discord and docs, and contribute to onboarding and documentation. Selection includes an AI interview and domain task.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Arabic/linguistics/translation or related field.
• Native or near-native Arabic with strong reading and writing.
• Strong English to follow guidelines and provide feedback.
• 3+ years in Arabic writing, editing, translation, QA or AI training.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams.
• Proficient with Discord and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Quality monitoring of Arabic items and ongoing feedback.
• Update trainers and QAs on guidelines and project changes.
• Answer questions on Arabic wording, dialect, RTL formatting, and terminology.
• Activate inactive contributors and track availability.
• Create and maintain Arabic project documentation.
• Onboard/train trainers and QAs on expectations and rubrics.
• Ensure adherence to Arabic language guidelines across projects.
• Identify gaps and propose scalable QA processes.
