Job summary

SME Careers seeks a Filipino/Tagalog Quality Assurance Lead for an hourly, remote contractor role. You will oversee quality across AI training projects, review AI-generated content, and guide trainers and QAs to maintain brand and client standards.

You will monitor grammar, tone, cultural context, and rubrics, provide precise feedback, handle onboarding, and coordinate with remote teams via Discord and Google Docs. Strong English and Filipino/Tagalog skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Native or near-native Filipino/Tagalog proficiency with strong reading and writing skills.
• Strong English proficiency to follow guidelines and provide feedback in English.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Filipino/Tagalog writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, education, annotation, or related language-review workflows.
• Experience leading remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quality monitoring: Spot-check Filipino/Tagalog items and provide feedback.
• Update trainers and QAs on Discord about new guidelines and changes.
• Respond to questions on Filipino/Tagalog wording, tone, and context.
• Activate inactive contributors and track availability issues.
• Create and maintain Filipino/Tagalog project documentation and onboarding materials.
• Schedule and run onboarding/training calls with trainers and QAs.
• Ensure consistent language guideline adherence across projects.
• Identify recurring quality gaps and propose workflow improvements.
