Job summary

Career Land Center, LLC is hiring an experienced Sous Chef for a high-volume F&B operation in Kuwait. The role focuses on supporting kitchen leadership, maintaining standards, supervising junior staff, and ensuring efficient culinary operations.

You will oversee daily kitchen tasks, ensure quality and consistency, and collaborate with service, purchasing, and management teams to drive performance and cost-conscious practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum prior experience as a Sous Chef or similar culinary role.
• Experience supervising kitchen staff and coordinating daily ops.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to manage food costs, inventory, and wastage.
• Proven track record in high-volume F&B environments.

Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Chef and senior teammates in daily kitchen operations.
• Supervise food prep, mise en place, cooking, plating and service readiness.
• Ensure dishes meet company standards, recipes, and quality expectations.
• Guide and train junior chefs and kitchen staff.
• Monitor quality, portions, timing, and presentation.
• Assist with menu execution, daily specials, and presentation.
