Job summary

IDEMIA Public Security is seeking an experienced technical solutions engineer to support regional sales in Saudi Arabia. You will lead demonstrations, answer complex questions and shape architecture for customer-focused security solutions.

Travel across Saudi Arabia and the Middle East will be required. A strong background in biometrics, identity management, and government/security environments is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical, integration, pre-sales or solutions engineering role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience with biometric technologies, identity management, physical access control or security solutions.
• Experience supporting customer demonstrations, technical workshops, proof of concepts (POCs) and solution design activities.
• Strong understanding of solution architecture, systems integration principles and enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Experience in government/public security or critical infrastructure environments is desirable.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management, with ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating with customers, partners and system integrators.

Responsibilities

• Support the Regional Sales Director during customer meetings and business development activities.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops and demonstrations of IDEMIA solutions.
• Answer customer technical questions and articulate IDEMIA’s differentiators.
• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer requirements and challenges.
• Support Proof of Concept (POC) activities from planning through to completion.
• Configure and deploy IDEMIA products and solutions for demonstrations and POCs.
• Act as the primary technical contact for customers, partners and system integrators during evaluations and POCs.
• Define solution architectures and recommend products and services to meet customer requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation, solution designs and customer presentations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Support and Sales to resolve technical issues.
• Travel across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East region as required.
