Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Receiving Clerk to join the Finance team at Holiday Inn Riyadh Rose Yard. You will receive, inspect, and record deliveries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.

The role requires 1–2 years in Receiving or Hotel Operations, a relevant degree, and proficiency in Excel and hotel management systems. You will collaborate across stores, purchasing, and user departments to support timely, accurate deliveries.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Receiving, Storekeeping, Purchasing, or Hotel Operations.
• Knowledge of receiving procedures, inventory control, and purchasing documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory or hotel management systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect all incoming goods against PO and delivery notes.
• Verify quantities, quality, specs, and condition before acceptance.
• Record received goods in the hotel's inventory/receiving systems.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Stores, and user departments for timely deliveries.
• Report damaged or missing items and follow up with suppliers.
• Ensure receiving documents are complete, authorized, and filed.
• Maintain organized receiving records and audit documentation.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock verification.
• Ensure compliance with IHG purchasing policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized receiving area.
• Perform other finance and receiving duties as assigned by the Director of Finance & Business Support.
