Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group, managing the Holiday Inn Riyadh Rose Yard, seeks a Purchasing Supervisor to streamline hotel procurement and supplier management. The role reports to the Finance team and ensures timely availability of goods and services in line with IHG standards.

You will coordinate requisitions, evaluate quotations, and maintain strong supplier relationships while upholding internal controls and local regulations. Strong Excel/ERP proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in supply chain, business admin, finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years in purchasing/procurement, preferably hospitality.
• Knowledge of purchasing procedures, inventory control, and supplier management.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP; hotel procurement systems preferred.
• Strong negotiation, organization, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders per hotel policy.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with Stores and Receiving.
• Review quotations and assist in obtaining competitive pricing.
• Verify purchase documentation for accuracy and proper authorization.
• Follow up on outstanding orders and resolve supplier issues promptly.
• Coordinate with department heads to support operational purchasing needs.
• Review supplier invoices and resolve discrepancies with Finance.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier docs.
• Ensure compliance with IHG purchasing policies and local regulations.
• Support inventory counts, procurement reporting, and audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance & Business Support.
