Job summary

Confidential Government in Riyadh seeks a Revenue Accountant to ensure accurate revenue recognition under IFRS 15, reconcile accounts, and support monthly and annual closes. You will collaborate with Sales, Contracts, Collections and Project teams, review contracts, discounts and amendments, and maintain documentation for internal and external audits.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 3–5 years in revenue or financial accounting, IFRS 15 knowledge, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
3–5 years of experience in revenue accounting or financial accounting.
Experience in real estate development or construction preferred.
Working knowledge of IFRS 15 and revenue recognition principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
Progress toward a professional qualification such as SOCPA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Review sales contracts, payment schedules, and supporting documents to determine revenue accounting treatment.
Record revenue transactions in accordance with IFRS 15 and approved policies.
Prepare revenue schedules, journal entries, and supporting documentation for monthly and annual closing.
Reconcile revenue accounts with the general ledger, sales systems, and customer records.
Coordinate with Sales, Contracts, Collections, and Project teams to validate transaction details.
