RTC Saudi, a Riyadh-based contracting company, seeks a Senior Accountant to own the general ledger, monthly close and tax compliance, and to provide management with project cost and profitability reporting. The role requires IFRS expertise, VAT/WHT/Zakat handling, and strong Excel dashboards.

You will coordinate with project teams and external auditors to strengthen internal controls. Experience in contracting and SOCPA accreditation are preferred, with English fluency and ERP experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in contracting.
• SOCPA accreditation.
• IFRS knowledge incl. IFRS 15 and ZATCA rules.
• Experience in Project Cost Accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills with reporting and dashboards.
• ERP experience (Odoo or similar).
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Manage general ledger, month-end and year-end close, and prepare IFRS financial statements.
• Prepare and file VAT, WHT, Zakat returns and ensure ZATCA e-invoicing compliance.
• Run project cost accounting: job costing, project profitability, payment applications, retentions and variation orders.
• Prepare monthly management reports, cash-flow forecasts and dashboards.
• Prepare bank and balance-sheet reconciliations and follow up receivables with project teams.
• Act as the main contact for external auditors and apply internal controls.

RTC Saudi is a Riyadh-based contracting company specialised in excavation, foundations and construction works. We are looking for a Senior Accountant to own our general ledger, monthly close and tax compliance, and to give management reliable project cost and profitability reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the general ledger, month-end and year-end close, and prepare financial statements under IFRS


• Prepare and file VAT, WHT and Zakat returns, and ensure ZATCA e-invoicing compliance


• Run project cost accounting: job costing, project profitability, payment applications, retentions and variation orders


• Prepare monthly management reports, cash-flow forecasts and dashboards


• Prepare bank and balance-sheet reconciliations and follow up receivables with project teams


• Act as the main contact for external auditors and apply internal controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting


• 5+ years of accounting experience, including experience in the contracting sector


• Valid SOCPA professional accreditation


• Solid knowledge of IFRS (especially IFRS 15) and ZATCA regulations: VAT, WHT, Zakat and E-Invoicing


• Experience in Project Cost Accounting


• Advanced Excel skills, reporting and dashboards


• ERP experience (Odoo or similar)


• Fluent English, written and spoken
