Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in accounting, revenue operations, reconciliations, or financial control.
• CPA/ACCA/CMA qualifications are an advantage.
• Experience in payment services, fintech, e-commerce, or high-volume environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and reconciliation processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee revenue assurance from platform transactions to collection, settlement, and accounting.
• Verify fees, commissions, discounts, and charges align with contracts and terms.
• Identify missing/duplicate transactions, investigate causes, coordinate corrective actions.
• Establish and maintain documented controls, reconciliation procedures, and escalation processes.
• Reconcile platform records with payment gateway reports, bank receipts, and GL balances.
• Monitor settlements, investigate delays and deductions, follow up on outstanding amounts.
• Review refunds, cancellations, and chargebacks for accurate processing.
