Job summary

Dar Al Riyadh Group seeks an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead tendering, cost estimation, and contract administration for large civil projects in Saudi Arabia. The role includes reviewing BOQs, performing take-offs, and maintaining project budgets.

You will coordinate with design teams, assess contractor claims, price change orders, and support procurement to safeguard financials. A Bachelor's in civil engineering and 10+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in quantity survey, drawings survey, modeling, interim payment auditing and BIM-based surveys.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities and preliminary estimates.
• Review contractor claims, variations and prepare DCR.
• Prepare and review BOQ and RBOQ, quantity take-off and material surveys.
• Analyze rates for change orders and negotiate with client and contractor.
• Produce monthly progress reports and cash flow with site engineers.
• Support procurement to keep budgets intact and compliant with ISO 9001.

Job description

• Review & Preparation of Tender & Contract Documents including bills of quantities, preparation of preliminary estimates to define project budgets.
• Review and recommendation of contractor's claim and variation.
• Review and preparing all kinds of DCR.
• Review and preparing BOQ'S &RBOQ's.
• Review and preparing Quantity take-off and materials surveying based on the plans and specifications.
• Review and making rate analysis for change orders items.
• Review, supervise and preparing quantities measurement and supporting documents when required as well as review contractor’s payment certificates.
• Preparing and pricing Change Orders and negotiating agreement with the Client and Contractor as necessary.
• Negotiating contracts with the contractor.
• Prepared formats for all job trades according to ISO 9001.
• Performing cost planning in order to assist all members of the design team arrive at practical solutions and stay within the project budget.
• Review, and preparing monthly progress with the coordinate of site engineers for monthly invoices.
• Review, and preparing monthly cash flow.
• Participating in the beginning of the procurement process and negotiating to ensure the set budget is not exceeded.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of civil engineering.
• 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience in quantity survey, drawings survey, modeling, interim payment auditing, evidence documents enclosed with interim payment documents, survey based on BIM.
• Having good command in quantity survey using computer software and related software.
