Job summary

Basamh Group in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia seeks a Quality Assurance professional to monitor and enforce quality standards within warehouse operations and distribution processes.

You will log complaints, investigate root causes, apply AQLs, and ensure compliance with ISO standards while maintaining detailed records and training teams on quality practices.

The role emphasizes safety, pest control coordination, audits, and continuous improvement across the Basamh Group supply chain.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s is required.

Responsibilities

• Log and track quality-related complaints in the database, ensuring completeness and accuracy of reported issues.
• Conduct initial investigations with customers and trade marketing teams to determine root causes of quality or safety incidents.
• Apply statistical sampling techniques to inspect incoming deliveries and maintain high-quality standards.
• Physically analyze finished products during storage and before dispatch to identify potential quality deviations.
• Monitor and inspect storage conditions daily, including temperature, room humidity (RH), and stacking conditions.
• Ensure returned or refused products are quarantined for further inspection and corrective action.
• Validate that finished products are handled correctly during loading/unloading and confirm cleanliness of containers and trucks.
• Audit warehouse facilities at defined intervals, prepare reports, and set improvement goals in line with BRC Storage & Distribution standards.

Job Overview

To monitor and enforce quality standards to ensure product integrity, compliance, and safety within warehouse operations and distribution processes.

Role Responsibilities

• Log and track quality-related complaints in the database, ensuring completeness and accuracy of reported issues.
• Conduct initial investigations with customers and trade marketing teams to determine root causes of quality or safety incidents.
• Apply statistical sampling techniques to inspect incoming deliveries and maintain high-quality standards.
• Physically analyze finished products during storage and before dispatch to identify potential quality deviations.
• Monitor and inspect storage conditions daily, including temperature, room humidity (RH), and stacking conditions.
• Ensure returned or refused products are quarantined for further inspection and corrective action.
• Validate that finished products are handled correctly during loading/unloading and confirm cleanliness of containers and trucks.
• Assist in developing large-scale inspection techniques that improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Establish Acceptable Quality Limits (AQLs) for all products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain detailed records of quality checks and investigations to conduct data analysis when required.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety policies and regulations, conducting regular audits to enforce standards.
• Support the warehouse team in closing gaps identified during internal and external audits.
• Audit warehouse facilities at defined intervals, prepare reports, and set improvement goals in line with BRC Storage & Distribution standards.
• Verify that inbound and outbound processes follow traceability and recall protocols.
• Review the effectiveness of pest control activities and initiate corrective actions in case of non-compliance.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of ISO standards and certifications.
• Ensure that warehouse operations meet regulatory and organizational compliance standards.
• Manage the quality block tracker to identify, monitor, and resolve non-conformities in a timely manner.
• Develop and deliver training programs to educate teams on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure all warehouse employees wear proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to maintain a hygienic and safe work environment.
• Provide guidance and assurance to the team to uphold quality standards in daily operations.
• Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement across all levels.
