Job summary

Almarai Company is seeking a Quality Safety Health & Environment Coordinator in Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia to enforce QSHE management systems regionally and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

You will conduct audits, manage incidents, and deliver training while supporting continuous improvement and regulatory compliance across regional operations.

A Diploma in Food Science or Health & Safety and at least 1 year of QA/HSS/EMS experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Food Science, Health & Safety, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of QA/QMS/HSS/EMS experience in dairy or FMCG.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and HACCP principles.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of QSHE systems to meet standards.
• Identify and assess operational risks and QSHE initiatives to mitigate impacts.
• Conduct internal audits and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in incident investigations and manage recalls, complaints and regulatory matters.
• Deliver QSHE training and awareness programs to employees.
• Monitor QSHE performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.

About the role:

To enforce compliance of the QSHE management systems within the region to satisfy the needs of consumers and customers by implementing QSHE strategies, standards, policies and procedures

Key responsibilities:

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment (QSHE) management systems to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and assess operational risks, supporting the development and execution of QSHE initiatives to mitigate potential business impacts.
• Conduct internal audits across regional operations, identify areas for improvement, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence. Manage customer and consumer complaints, product recalls, accident investigations, and regulatory matters.
• Deliver QSHE training and awareness programs to employees, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Monitor, measure, and report QSHE performance metrics, supporting the achievement of departmental objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Food Science, Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Management Systems (QMS), Health, Safety & Sustainability (HSS), or Environmental Management Systems (EMS), preferably within the dairy or FMCG industry.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and HACCP principles, with experience supporting their implementation and compliance activities.
