Qualifications

The Role:

To manage a self-directing, multi-functional team to efficiently intake birds and process poultry products to meet internal customer requirements within the management performance parameters by ensuring adherence to defined Product Specifications, within the Quality and Safety Standards.

To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a poultry or food production environment, with exposure to high-volume operations, managing a multicultural workforce, coordinating production and maintenance plans with the Production Management team, maintaining a safe working environment, reducing workplace incidents, and working with automated process control systems.
• Working knowledge of implementing and maintaining international quality standards, including ISO 9001 and HACCP, along with strong computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Preferred to have certifications in Supervisory Management, Internal Auditing, and recognized food safety and quality standards such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000.
• Competencies such as; Strong knowledge of implementing international quality standards, with the ability to drive process optimization and cost reduction initiatives, effectively manage and develop multicultural teams, foster a collaborative work environment, and train employees to enhance performance and operational excellence.
