Job summary

Hudson Manpower invites a Lead QA/QC inspector to oversee inspection activities for pressure vessels, tanks, and heat exchangers within Oil & Gas or petrochemical projects. You will ensure compliance with ASME, API, and Aramco standards while coordinating with vendors and clients.

You should hold CWI or CSWIP with ASNT Level II in NDT and have 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing of pressure vessels, tanks, exchangers and piping. BE Mechanical is required.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical, degree required or equivalent
• 5–10 years QA/QC experience in pressure vessels, tanks, exchangers
• Certified CWI or CSWIP with ASNT Level II in NDT (UT, PT, MT, RT, VT)

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC inspections for pressure vessels, tanks and heat exchangers
• Review and approve WPS, PQRs, and welder qualifications
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party inspectors
• Prepare ITPs and inspection reports
• Interface with clients for hold/witness points and testing
• Handle NCRs and corrective actions

Job description

Lead QA/QC inspections for pressure vessels, tanks, and heat exchangers in Oil & Gas or petrochemical projects, ensuring compliance with ASME, API, and Aramco standards;certified CWI or CSWIP with ASNT Level II in NDT (UT, PT, MT, RT, VT);

proficient in ASME, API, AWS, and relevant fabrication/inspection codes; review and approve WPS, PQRs, and welder qualifications;

monitor NDT activities and personnel; manage outsourced fabrication/inspection, coordinate with vendors and third-party inspectors; prepare ITPs, inspection reports, and final quality dossiers;

interface with clients for hold/witness points, DCL submissions, and testing;

handle NCRs, corrective actions, technical clarifications, and drive quality improvements.
