Job summary

Zamil Offshore Services Company seeks a Mechanical QC Inspector to ensure welding, fabrication, piping and mechanical activities meet Saudi Aramco standards, approved specs, ITPs and relevant international codes. You will review WPS/PQR, welder qualifications, material certificates and inspection records, and perform fit-up, visual and dimensional inspections.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• CSWIP 3.1, AWS-CWI or equivalent welding inspection certification.
• NDT Level II certification in relevant methods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct welding, fabrication, piping, and mechanical inspections as per approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, and applicable codes.
• Review WPS/PQR, welder qualifications, material certificates, and inspection records.
• Perform fit-up, visual, dimensional, welding, and mechanical inspections.
• Coordinate and witness NDT, hydrostatic/pressure testing, and other required inspections.
• Identify non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, Saudi Aramco representatives, third-party inspectors, and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct welding, fabrication, piping, and mechanical inspections as per approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, and applicable codes.
• Review WPS/PQR, welder qualifications, material certificates, and inspection records.
• Perform fit-up, visual, dimensional, welding, and mechanical inspections.
• Coordinate and witness NDT, hydrostatic/pressure testing, and other required inspections.
• Identify non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, Saudi Aramco representatives, third-party inspectors, and construction teams.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Saudi Aramco approval with SAP No. 800****, valid CBT for both Piping & Welding Relevant experience in QC inspection for welding, piping, fabrication, and mechanical construction projects.
• CSWIP 3.1, AWS-CWI, or equivalent welding inspection certification.
• NDT Level II certification in relevant methods is preferred.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards, SAES, SAMSS, ASME, API, AWS, and ASTM codes.
• Good knowledge of WPS/PQR, ITPs, drawings, specifications, and inspection documentation.
