Qualifications

  • Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 6+ years as a QC Electrical Inspector with Gulf experience.
  • Saudi Aramco project experience or approval is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ITPs, standards, and QA/QC procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect electrical installations per drawings, ITPs, and standards.
  • Verify cable laying, routing, termination, and tagging accuracy.
  • Witness tests (continuity, insulation, earth resistance, HV) as applicable.
  • Review test reports, certificates, and QA/QC documentation.
  • Identify NCRs and coordinate corrective actions with teams.
  • Maintain inspection records, punch lists, and turnover dossiers.
  • Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QC Electrical Inspector to monitor and verify the quality of electrical installation, testing, and inspection activities at project sites across Saudi Arabia. The role requires strong knowledge of electrical inspection procedures, ITPs, QA/QC documentation, electrical drawings, applicable codes and standards, and Saudi Aramco project requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Inspect electrical installation activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements, and project standards.

  • Conduct inspections of cables, cable trays, conduits, switchgear, transformers, MCCs, DBs, panels, lighting, earthing, and electrical equipment.

  • Verify cable laying, routing, identification, glanding, termination, dressing, and connection activities.

  • Inspect installation of LV/MV/HV equipment, electrical panels, junction boxes, lighting systems, and distribution systems, as applicable.

  • Verify electrical equipment installation, alignment, clearances, supports, connections, and tagging against approved drawings.

  • Witness and verify continuity, insulation resistance (Megger), earth resistance, high-voltage, functional, and other electrical tests, as applicable.

  • Review test reports, calibration certificates, material certificates, inspection records, and QA/QC documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with approved ITPs, inspection procedures, project specifications, and Saudi Aramco standards.

  • Identify non-conformities, raise NCRs/observations, and follow up on corrective actions and closure.

  • Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, client representatives, and third-party inspectors.

  • Maintain inspection reports, checklists, test records, punch lists, and turnover dossiers.

  • Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, electrical completion, and project handover activities.

Mandatory Requirements
  • Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.

  • 6+ years of relevant experience as a QC Electrical Inspector.

  • Minimum 6+ years of relevant Gulf experience.

  • Valid CBT certification, where applicable.

  • Valid Saudi Aramco approval or proven experience working on Saudi Aramco projects.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical inspection, installation, testing, ITPs, QA/QC procedures, and documentation.

  • Good understanding of applicable IEC, IEEE, NFPA, NEC, project specifications, and Saudi Aramco standards.

  • Candidates currently available in Saudi Arabia will be given priority.

  • Open to candidates from India, Pakistan, Philippines, and eligible local-transfer candidates; Saudi Nationals are not eligible.
