Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a QA/QC Rotating Engineer (Saudi National) to lead and supervise mechanical rotating works, including installation and commissioning, within our sustainable technology solutions.

• Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of Oil & Gas maintenance experience.
• Strong understanding of maintenance jobs related to quality assurance.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to resolve problems under pressure and think strategically.

Responsibilities

• Supervise & follow up mechanical rotating progress of works, installation & commissioning.
• Plan & control the inspection of mechanical rotating works and related activities.
• Experience in testing & commissioning of mechanical rotating works.
• Monitor final inspection of completed mechanical rotating works before handover to client.
• Review mechanical shop drawings and vendor drawings for contract conformance.
• Review mechanical materials submittals for contract conformance.
• Review mechanical specifications & calculations for conformance with contract documents.
• Implement the SATORP mechanical Quality Assurance Plan.
• Review as-built drawings, operation & maintenance manuals and warranty.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures.
• Encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
• Comply with all SHE procedures prior to commencement and during work.

KBR is looking for QA/QC rotating Engineer who carries out technical and supervisory responsibilities based on knowledge of international standards and codes related to mechanical works in accordance with the organization’s standard.

Responsibilities:

• Can Supervise & Follow up MECHANICAL Rotating progress of works, installation & Commissioning of deferent units.
• Able to Plan & Control the inspection of all MECHANICAL Rotating works and related activities.
