Job summary

BEC Arabia in Khobar, Saudi Arabia, seeks a QA QC Inspector to ensure construction projects meet the highest quality standards in line with SBC and client requirements. You will inspect activities, review drawings, and coordinate with teams to implement corrective actions.

The role requires 5+ years in QA/QC, ISO 9001:2015 knowledge, and strong English reporting. On-site work with PPE and opportunities for growth within a leading multinational construction firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the construction or infrastructure industry.
• Certification in ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and other relevant standards.
• Proficiency in quality management tools and software (e.g., Primavera P6, AutoCAD, MS Office).
• Membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and testing procedures.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes and standards.
• Monitor and verify the quality of materials, workmanship and processes used on-site.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents to ensure alignment with quality requirements.
• Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs) and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code SBC, client standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct audits of subcontractors and suppliers to verify adherence to quality standards.
• Support the implementation of quality management systems (QMS) and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and third-party inspectors to resolve quality concerns.
• Participate in pre-inspection meetings and provide technical guidance to project teams.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment.
• Promote a culture of quality and safety across all project activities.
