Job summary

BEC Arabia is seeking a highly skilled QA/QC - Civil Engineer to join our Riyadh team. You will lead QA/QC planning and oversee site inspections to ensure adherence to the SBC and project specs, driving quality across government mega-projects, commercial developments, and infrastructure initiatives aligned with Vision 2030.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans in alignment with client requirements and regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and applicable codes.
• Monitor construction activities to identify and address quality issues proactively.
• Ensure adherence to the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and other relevant standards.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, test plans, and non-conformance reports.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues.
• Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings for compliance.
• Implement and monitor ISO 9001 quality management systems across assigned projects.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Train project teams on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of audit findings.
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across all project phases.

About the Role

As part of the QA & QC Department, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement and monitor quality assurance and control processes that meet both client and regulatory expectations.
