Job summary

Musco Saudi Arabia is seeking a dedicated Purchasing Specialist for our Dammam office to lead supplier evaluation and contract negotiation for our new manufacturing facility. The role focuses on cost, delivery, and service alignment with Musco standards.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of purchasing experience, a business or engineering degree or equivalent, and fluency in English and Arabic. Proficiency with Office365 and procurement systems is required to support production without

• Strong command of English and Arabic (reading, writing, speaking).

• High level of organization with strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated to work independently.
• Proficient with Office365 programs including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Identify and negotiate with contract suppliers for materials, supplies, equipment and/or services.
• Establish and maintain procedures for continued improvement of quality, delivery, service and price.
• Support minimum on-hand inventory while minimizing obsolete stock and avoiding backorders or production disruptions.
• Provide technical assistance to interpret, analyze, and resolve procurement issues.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with engineers, production, and suppliers to ensure compliance with standards and quality requirements.
• Calculate and prepare cost comparison requests related to Purchasing, Engineering, and Production projects.
• Search for and evaluate firms with manufacturing capabilities and reliability.

Purchasing Specialist

The Musco Saudi Arabia Team has an opening for a Purchasing Specialist at our Dammam, Saudi Arabia office. The primary purpose of this position is to provide leadership in evaluating and developing relationships with suppliers for our new Manufacturing Facility. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance to interpret, analyze, and resolve procurement issues.
• Develop and maintain a good working relationship with engineers, production, and suppliers to ensure compliance to company standards and quality requirements.
• Calculate and prepare cost comparison requests as they pertain to Purchasing, Engineering and Production projects.
• Search out, contact and investigate firms having manufacturing facilities and/or services available, such investigation to include the evaluation of general business philosophy and reliability of the firm, the nature and level of work forces skills, physical plant, machinery, tooling and equipment.
