As a Project QA/QC Manager, you will ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, local and international standards, and quality benchmarks. You will work closely with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to uphold the highest levels of quality across all phases of construction.
Key Accountabilities
The position involves:
- Developing and implementing project-specific QA/QC plans, ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), and procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable construction standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM, AASHTO, etc.).
- Conducting inspections, audits, and quality reviews throughout the construction process.
- Leading the QA/QC team to monitor and verify construction activities, including materials testing, site inspections, and documentation control.
- Coordinating with consultants, clients, and subcontractors on quality-related matters.
- Managing NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), corrective actions, and preventive measures to resolve quality issues effectively.
- Overseeing material submittals, method statements, and ensuring they meet technical and quality standards.
- Supporting project handover and final quality documentation processes.
- Promoting a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement on site.
- Preparing quality reports and updates for project management and client representatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
We are Looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (QA/QC certifications are a plus).
- Minimum 12 years of experience in QA/QC roles, with at least 5 years in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of international QA/QC standards and construction industry regulations.
- Proficiency in QA/QC documentation, material approval processes, and inspection protocols.
- Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a team and ensure compliance across all construction disciplines.
- Fluent in English.
