Role Context
Hospitality assets involve demanding coordination between owner requirements, operator standards, guest experience, design quality, procurement timelines, construction activities, and opening objectives. The Project Manager will provide the daily leadership needed to keep these interconnected workstreams aligned. The position will strengthen delivery certainty by monitoring cost, program, quality, scope, and risk throughout the project lifecycle. Timely reporting, disciplined follow-up, and early intervention will help protect key milestones and support the successful completion of each asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day project activities across planning, design, procurement, construction, and delivery stages.
- Develop and maintain detailed project-management plans for individual hospitality assets.
- Establish programs, coordination trackers, decision logs, and action registers.
- Monitor cost, schedule, scope, quality, risk, and overall project performance.
- Analyze project data to identify emerging issues, delays, constraints, and adverse trends.
- Challenge incomplete information or weak delivery outcomes and initiate corrective measures.
- Coordinate interfaces and dependencies between design, procurement, construction, and operator requirements.
- Align consultants, contractors, hotel operators, suppliers, delivery partners, and internal teams.
- Define required actions, responsible owners, and completion dates.
- Follow decisions and commitments through to documented closure.
- Lead project-governance processes and maintain reliable reporting cycles.
- Prepare submissions, dashboards, progress reports, and management presentations.
- Translate technical and performance information into structured insights for decision-makers.
- Escalate critical risks and unresolved issues with practical recommendations.
- Support timely decisions at design, procurement, construction, and handover milestones.
- Maintain alignment between project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Facilitate coordination meetings and record decisions, responsibilities, and next steps.
- Manage multiple workstreams while responding to changing priorities and project conditions.
- Support the timely execution and coordinated completion of hospitality assets.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor 's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
- Master 's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Minimum ten years of project-management or construction-management experience.
- At least five to seven years of client-side or developer-side experience.
- Background delivering major real estate, hospitality, or infrastructure developments.
- Experience managing hospitality assets and coordinating directly with hotel operators is highly desirable.
- Exposure to the complete project lifecycle from initial planning through construction.
- Strong understanding of project controls, governance, reporting, and performance management.
- Ability to coordinate complex stakeholder groups and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
- Experience working with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project-management consultants.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-support abilities.
- Capacity to manage several workstreams within a fast-moving and ambiguous environment.
- Previous experience in Saudi Arabia, the GCC, or a comparable large-scale development market is preferred.
- PMP, MRICS, MCIOB, CEng, RIBA, or equivalent chartered status would be advantageous.
