Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Project Engineer to support and manage electrical project initiatives. You will coordinate with sales, marketing, engineering and production to ensure projects meet customer needs and adhere to IEC, SASO and SEC standards.

Plan, execute, and monitor progress, review documents, and communicate with clients to ensure timelines, quality and compliance. Proficiency in MS Project or AutoCAD and bilingual Arabic/English skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
• 2–4 years of experience in engineering project management, preferably in transformers or heavy electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor engineering projects within timelines, budgets, and technical specs.
• Coordinate operations between sales, marketing, engineering, and production teams.
• Provide regular progress reports to management, highlighting challenges and opportunities.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to protect timelines and budgets.

The Project engineer serves as a key point in supporting and managing commercial projects related to the electrical e sector, ensuring the achievement of the company's strategic objectives. Their responsibilities include coordinating operations between sales, marketing, engineering, and production teams, as well as tracking project progress to ensure alignment with customer needs and industry standards.

• Project Management: Responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring the progress of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and technical specifications.
• Team Coordination: Effectively coordinate with technical teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure the project is executed according to the specified standards.
• Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to management, including challenges and opportunities for improvement.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate their impact on the project timeline and workflow.
• Document Review: Review all technical documents, contracts, and drawings to ensure they align with project requirements and quality standards.
• Client Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure their satisfaction and confirm that the project meets their needs.
• Safety and Legal Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety goals and relevant legal requirements throughout the project.
• Client Requirements Interpretation: Analyze and interpret client requirements and provide appropriate engineering solutions.
• Engineering Problem-Solving: Identify engineering issues that may arise during the project and apply suitable solutions to resolve them.
• Workload Organization: Evaluate, organize, and prioritize the workload to ensure tasks are completed within the scheduled timeline.
• Coordination with External Contractors: Communicate with external contractors to ensure all equipment meets the project’s technical requirements

Academic and professional qualifications:
