Job summary

Mammoet is seeking a Project Engineer to develop engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transport projects, preparing method statements, drawings, calculations and risk assessments to ensure safe, efficient execution.

You will follow the engineering plan on site, provide expert advice on solutions, and ensure documents are checked and approved in the relevant systems; AutoCAD experience and English fluency are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with departmental/administrative systems and MS Office.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Exposure to sectors like civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining is a plus.
• Saudi Council of Engineers certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Engineering: prepare and select existing-and-renewed engineering method statements, drawings, calculations, visualisations, manuals, risk assessments and verify suitability of equipment and methods.
• Project Execution: ensure the engineering plan is followed during job execution and contribute to operations management on site when required.
• Advising: formulate and present engineering solutions and provide accurate advice on request or initiative, considering applicable standards.
• Document Controlling: ensure engineering documents are checked and approved by you and by relevant approvers.
• Administration: record, execute and maintain technical documents and data in systems, per internal requirements.

Project Engineer Responsible for developing conventional and improved engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transport projects, by preparing and selecting existing-and-renewed engineering method statements, drawings, calculations, visualisations, manuals, risk assessments and-or other relevant documents to ensure a safe and efficient execution

What You’ll Be Doing

• Engineering (Prepare and select existing-and- renewed engineering method statements, drawings, calculations, visualisations, manuals, risk assessments and verify suitability of equipment and methods.)
• . Project Execution (Ensure the engineering plan is followed during the job execution and contribute to operations management on jobsite when required)
• Advising (Formulate and present possible engineering solutions and issue accurate advice at request or at own initiative, taking into account the applicable standards)
• Document Controlling (Make sure that the engineering documents are checked and approved by yourself and then by the relevant approver(s))
• Administration (Record, execute and maintain technical document and data in (sub) systems, in line with internal requirements)

What You’ll Need

• Professional level experience in departmental and administrative systems, and MS Office suite
• English, fluent proficiency verbal and written
• Experiance in AutoCAD
• Relevant experience in any of the following sectors would be an advantage: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining
• Saudi Council of Engineers
