Job summary

JASARA PMC in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Project Controls / Planning leader to run the supervision consultant team, oversee planning, progress monitoring and schedule control, and ensure performance against baselines. This role involves reviewing contractor schedules, tracking milestones, preparing progress dashboards, and coordinating with engineering, commercial and site supervision teams.

Requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field and 15+ years of relevant experience,

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience in project controls/planning.
• Minimum 5 years in a managerial planning/controls role on major construction projects.
• Experience reviewing contractor schedules and progress reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Project Controls and Planning team.
• Review and monitor the Contractor's baseline schedule and updates.
• Monitor progress against milestones and project objectives.
• Review contractor recovery plans, look-ahead schedules, and schedule updates.
• Identify delays, critical path issues, and schedule risks.
• Review progress measurement and validate reported progress.
• Coordinate with engineering, commercial, and site supervision teams.
• Prepare project-level progress reports and dashboards.
• Provide schedule analysis and recommendations for delay mitigation.
• Monitor contractor performance and highlight potential impacts to time and cost.

Role Overview

Lead the Project Controls function within the Supervision Consultant team, overseeing planning, progress monitoring, reporting, and schedule control while monitoring the Contractor's performance against approved project baselines.

• Lead the Project Controls and Planning team.
• Review and monitor the Contractor's baseline schedule and updates.
• Monitor progress against approved milestones and project objectives.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• 15+ years of relevant experience.

• Minimum 5 years Previous experience as a Project Controls Manager, Planning Manager, or equivalent.
• Experience in major construction/infrastructure projects.

• Strong experience reviewing Contractor schedules and progress reports.
