Job summary

SADAFCO in Jeddah is seeking a Production Planning Specialist to organize daily and weekly supply and demand planning, translating the sales forecast into a practical production schedule that keeps finished goods flowing efficiently.

You will liaise with Supply Chain, ensure availability of packaging and raw materials, manage MO creation, backlogs, and KPI reporting with a focus on GMP/GHP and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in business administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant planning experience in FMCG.
• Good MS Office knowledge, excellent MS Excel skills.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task under pressure.
• ERP knowledge and understanding is a must.
• Excellent planning, scheduling and organizational skills.
• Languages: English and Arabic; Arabic is a plus.
• Familiarity with SKUs creation, BOMs and materials masters updates.
• Accurate and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Supply Chain to get updated sales forecast and create weekly/monthly production plans.
• Account for production capacity, resources, machine availability, and material constraints.
• Ensure packaging, raw materials and other materials are available on time and stored properly.
• Prepare supply plans for third party items and provide daily feedback on scheduling details.
• Communicate and execute all production schedule changes for unplanned events.
• Ensure MO is created on time and back-lush reports reflect actual results.
• Control finished goods inventory within limits and coordinate factory services.
• Supervise planning activities and train store keepers, forklift drivers, and staff.
• Follow GMPs and GHPs to maintain a safe, clean environment compliant with standards.
• Escalate out-of-stock, delays, or defects; contribute to KPI reporting and meetings.
