Job summary

Almosafer is seeking a Product Designer to shape the Digital Consumer Travel experience. You will work with engineers, product managers, and other designers to turn problems into meaningful experiences across flights, stays, activities, and more.

You will conduct research, translate insights into design decisions, and contribute to design systems. A portfolio showcasing up to 3 projects is required. This role demands strong Arabic and English communication and a deep user-centered mindset.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of product design experience within a consumer focused organization.
• Ability to plan and conduct research from interviews and usability tests to surveys.
• Strong communication skills to tell a story to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent visual design skills and proficiency in design, prototyping, and whiteboarding tools.
• Experience contributing to a design system.

Responsibilities

• Identify and understand customer needs and pain points to inform opportunities and problem statements.
• Lead and support discovery activities such as user interviews, surveys, and usability tests.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other designers to deliver solutions across web and mobile platforms.
• Consider business needs, technical constraints, data, and platform requirements to produce valuable solutions.
• Translate opportunities into elegant, intuitive experiences delivering customer and business value.
• Produce concepts and prototypes rapidly, knowing when to ideate further or pivot.
• Run experiments to validate assumptions and optimize solutions.
