Jumeirah The Red Sea is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead cost-effective purchasing for weHeart luxury resort operations. The role involves negotiating with suppliers, ensuring quality, and arranging shipments to support seamless service delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in hospitality procurement, fluent English, excellent communication, and familiarity with materials control systems. This position offers a competitive package within a luxury hospitality group.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost-effective procurement and timely delivery for resort operations.
• Scrutinize item quality and ensure contracts meet company and local requirements.
• Source new products to maintain high quality and negotiate best deals.
• Prepare product comparisons and sampling when appropriate.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions.
• Negotiate terms and arrange air/sea shipments for overseas suppliers.
• Ensure all suppliers comply with company policies and procedures.

About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a - Procurement Manager to join Jumeirah The Red Sea.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• To manage the business with the cost-effective procurement and delivery of all requirements of resort operation.
• Scrutinizing the quality of items.
• Ensure the purchase contracts meet company and local requirements.
• Responsible for the sourcing of new products to maintain a high quality
• Prepare comparison of products including sampling where appropriate
• Monitor and respond to supplier performance implementing appropriate corrective actions and advising of impending business risk.
• Attend daily morning briefing and all meetings related to purchasing system
• Identify and maximize opportunities for cost and price reductions
• Identify, propose, and implement revenue generating initiatives where appropriate
• Ensure verification of authorization of purchase requisition.
• Process and expedite Purchase Orders utilizing the companies' procurement system as per the company's policy and procedures
• Ensure all suppliers are in compliance with company policy and procedures
• Contribute to ideas and solutions for smooth resort operation
• To ensure good work relations with all suppliers
• To react to all problems and complaints rose and to offer solutions.
• Responsible for the selection and approval of the best suppliers.
• Negotiate with different suppliers in order to obtain the best deal.
• Supervise the work of Purchasing Supervisor to ensure he / she performs his / her responsibilities.
• Arrange air and sea shipment for overseas suppliers.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• 3-5 years in hospitality industry
• Very good command of speaking, reading, and writing English language.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiar With Materials Control System.
• Computer Literacy and very good MS Office skills
