The role involves monitoring supplier performance, expediting purchase orders, ensuring policy compliance, and coordinating shipments for overseas suppliers. Strong English, communication, and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in hospitality industry.
• Strong command of speaking, reading and writing English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiar with Materials Control System and MS Office.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost-effective procurement and timely delivery for resort operations.
• Scrutinize item quality; ensure contracts meet company and local requirements.
• Source new products to maintain high quality; prepare product comparisons and sampling.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions; advise on business risk.
• Process and expedite purchase orders per policy; verify requisition authorizations.
• Ensure supplier compliance with company policy; arrange air/sea shipments for overseas suppliers.
• Lead and coordinate Purchasing Supervisor; participate in purchasing system meetings.
