UCC Holding in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Procurement Engineer to manage procurement for large-scale construction projects, sourcing materials, equipment, and subcontract packages. You will evaluate suppliers, conduct bid analyses, and negotiate contracts to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

You will collaborate with engineering, planning, commercial, and site teams, expedite deliveries, monitor performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in civil or architectural engineering.
• 7–10 years of procurement experience in construction projects.
• Experience with Tier-1 main contractors preferred.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, contract administration, and supply chain management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Manage procurement for construction materials, equipment, and subcontract packages.
• Review project specs, drawings, BOQs, and material requirements.
• Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs to vendors and subcontractors.
• Conduct technical and commercial bid evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contractual conditions.
• Prepare comparison statements and procurement recommendations for management approval.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, commercial, and site teams to ensure procurement requirements are met.
• Expedite the delivery of materials and equipment to meet project schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project requirements.
• Track procurement status and prepare periodic procurement reports.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and strategic sourcing.
• Resolve supply chain and delivery issues that may impact project progress.
• Support subcontractor prequalification and vendor registration activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7-10 years of procurement experience in construction projects.
• Experience with Tier-1 Main Contractors is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of procurement procedures, contract administration, and supply chain management.
• Experience procuring construction materials, MEP equipment, finishing materials, and subcontract packages.
• Good understanding of technical specifications and construction methodologies.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, SAP, Oracle, and MS Office applications.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
