Job summary

Amaken in Medina, Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead private household meal operations. You will plan daily menus, tailor offerings to the family’s preferences and dietary needs, and ensure exceptional quality at all times.

Responsibilities include preparing a range of international cuisines, managing ingredient sourcing, stock control and kitchen organization, while upholding strict hygiene and food safety standards and protecting the family’s privacy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Head Chef, Executive Chef, or Private Chef in VIP households or luxury settings.
• Strong knowledge of multiple international cuisines.
• Experience preparing healthy, balanced, and diet-specific meals.
• Ability to work independently and manage kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare daily meals according to the family’s preferences and dietary requirements.
• Prepare a variety of international cuisines including Middle Eastern, European and Asian dishes.
• Create healthy balanced and diet-specific meals when required.
• Prepare meals for private events, formal dinners, and VIP guests.
• Manage the kitchen’s daily operations including ingredient sourcing, stock control and organization.
• Ensure the kitchen maintains high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety.
• Adapt menus and meal preparation to the household’s schedule and changing needs.
• Maintain complete discretion and respect the family’s privacy.
