Job summary

Saudi Gold Refinery SGR in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Senior Inventory Specialist to manage precise tracking and reconciliation of precious metal inventories, ensuring LBMA-aligned chain of custody from dore receipt to bullion dispatch.

The role supports the financial close, maintains accurate inventory records, and collaborates with internal audit to uphold asset integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English required for professional communication and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for financial data and inventories.
• Experience with internal controls and audit procedures for tangible assets is preferred.
• Familiarity with LBMA Good Delivery rules and responsible sourcing standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily cycle counts and monthly reconciliations to ensure stock accuracy.
• Maintain detailed chain-of-custody records for full traceability of metal movements.
• Prepare documentation for internal audits and LBMA accreditation reviews.
• Investigate inventory variances and identify root causes with corrective actions.
• Validate inventory transactions in the ERP system to ensure accurate valuation.
• Review and improve inventory handling procedures to reduce loss or error.
• Train junior staff on weighing, sampling, and documentation protocols.
• Provide timely inventory data to support month-end and year-end close.
