Job summary

ACWA Power seeks a Plant General Manager for the Red Sea Project - Power & Water Operations in Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. You will provide leadership to plant operations and maintenance teams to ensure safe, reliable and efficient performance, optimizing resources and ensuring uninterrupted power and water supply.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of power generation and desalination plant operations and performance.
• Strong techno-commercial knowledge including budgeting and profitability.
• Leadership, planning, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain management, SAP, IMS, HSE and governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plant strategies and plans to meet production and business objectives.
• Lead operations and maintenance, planning, availability, efficiency and reliability.
• Manage operating budget, financial performance, cost control, and compliance with contracts.
• Lead workforce planning, performance management, talent development, and coaching.
• Provide technical leadership in root cause analysis, risk assessment, modifications, and reliability improvements.
• Oversee procurement, spare parts, contractor performance, and SAP process implementation.
• Ensure IMS, HSE, legislation, policies, audits and corrective actions are followed.
• Maintain relationships with project company, board, shareholders, OEMs, contractors and authorities.
