Welding Engineer
Location: Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Experience: defined domain name as well as the number of years; experience in the design/ fabrication of pressure vessels and heat exchangers, with excellent expertise in ASME Section VIII and above; years in QA/QC activities related to pressure vessels and heat exchangers; Welding Designer.
CTC: SAR 8000 to SAR 9000 per month
Qualification: Mechanical Engineering/ Metallurgy Designer
AWS/CSWIP
DETAILS TRAINING: ISO Interior Auditor Training, ASNT Degree II (UT, RT, MPI, PT)
Strong understanding of ASME codes.
COMPUTER ABILITIES: MS Word, MS Excel
Food Allowance: SAR 300 per month

Client Description: Our customer is a leading producer of Stress Vessels, Warm Exchanger, Tank, and so on.
Responsibilities
- Prep work and advancement of Welding Procedures.
- Qualifying new WPS and PQRs.
- Qualifying Welders as well as welding operators.
- Calibration of Welding machines/Electrodes and flux baking ovens.
- Prep work, Entry and approval of WPS, PQR, Weld Maps and so on.
- Maintaining connection of welders.
- PRIMARY ACTIVITIES: Liable for Preparation of WPS, PQR, Repair procedure submission and approval from Customer and TPI.
- In charge of development of new Welding procedure.
- Accountable for preserving connection of welders.
- To Make certain that correct welding procedures are followed.
- To give solutions to welding related issues like repair etc.
- To prepare weld maps as well as concern to purchase welding.
- To make sure that ovens are adjusted.
- To make sure that the electrodes as well as consumables are properly baked, kept and released from the stores.
- To ensure that appropriate preheating and correct criteria are being adhered to throughout the welding procedure.
- To disqualify welders that are creating defective welds continually.
- Maintain certified welder listing.
- In charge of calibration of welding devices.
- In charge of estimation of welding consumables and providing technical information to shops for public relations.
- Evaluation of incoming Welding consumables providing clearance.
- Weld monitoring.
- Accountable for prep work of Influence examination coupons where required.
- Responsible for issuing combined welder list to manufacturing on a monthly basis.
- In charge of keeping incoming welding consumable inspection record.
- Program extras as applicable.
