Duruper is seeking an experienced QC Welding Inspector to ensure welding, fabrication, inspection, and documentation activities comply with Saudi Aramco standards, approved procedures, project specifications, and applicable codes.
Responsibilities include inspecting welds and fit-up, verifying welding parameters, preheating and interpass temperature, coordinating NDT (RT/UT/MT/PT), reviewing inspection and material certificates, and maintaining weld maps and QC records.
We are seeking an experienced QC Welding Inspector to ensure welding, fabrication, inspection, and documentation activities comply with Saudi Aramco standards, approved procedures, project specifications, and applicable codes.
Inspect welding and fabrication activities in accordance with approved drawings, WPS/PQR, ITPs, and project specifications.
Perform inspection of fit-up, welding parameters, preheating, interpass temperature, consumables, and completed welds.
Verify welder qualifications, welding procedures, and material traceability.
Coordinate and monitor NDT activities, including RT, UT, MT, and PT.
Review welding inspection reports, NDT reports, material certificates, and quality documentation.
Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are properly implemented.
Coordinate with construction, QC, NDT, engineering, and client/Aramco inspection teams.
Maintain inspection records, punch lists, weld maps, and QC reports.
6-10 years of relevant experience in welding inspection, preferably in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical projects.
Saudi Aramco Approved – Welding Inspector.
Valid CBT in Welding.
Relevant technical qualification/certification in Welding, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong knowledge of welding inspection, applicable codes, specifications, and Saudi Aramco quality requirements.
Candidates must meet all required Saudi Aramco approval and certification criteria.
