Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure and Capital Projects, LLC is seeking a senior project controls leader to develop, manage, and maintain robust programme schedules for large-scale Data Centre projects. You will lead planning, forecasting, and reporting, aligning with design through commissioning and handover.

The role requires extensive Data Centre experience, strong knowledge of project controls, and expertise in Primavera P6.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
  • Professional accreditation (APM, PMI, PSP, AACE) desirable.
  • Middle East project experience highly desirable.
  • Extensive Data Centre project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and scheduling across major Data Centre programmes from design to handover.
  • Develop and maintain integrated master schedules aligned with programme goals.
  • Establish planning standards across multiple projects and workstreams.
  • Monitor progress and schedule performance against baselines.
  • Conduct schedule analysis, critical path assessments and risk evaluations.
  • Provide forecasting and scenario analyses for decision-making.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Coordinate planning with contractors, consultants, and client teams.
  • Lead schedule review meetings and performance discussions.
  • Support risk identification and mitigation planning for schedules.
  • Align schedule and cost reporting with commercial teams.
  • Mentor planning engineers and junior staff.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and tools.
  • Support in-depth experience in large-scale Data Centre projects.

About the role:

This is a key project controls leadership role responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining robust programme schedules across large-scale Data Centre projects.

Working closely with project management, commercial, engineering, and construction teams, you will provide schedule leadership, performance analysis, forecasting, and progress reporting to ensure successful programme delivery.

The successful candidate will bring extensive Data Centre experience from a PMC, construction consultancy, or client-side environment and possess a deep understanding of programme planning, controls, and reporting within complex capital projects

In this role you will:
  • Lead planning and scheduling activities across major Data Centre programmes from design through commissioning and handover.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage integrated master schedules aligned with programme objectives.
  • Establish project controls and planning standards across multiple projects and workstreams.
  • Monitor progress and schedule performance against approved baselines.
  • Conduct schedule analysis, critical path assessments, and programme risk evaluations.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and scenario analysis to support client decision-making.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and planning presentations for key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and manage schedule changes, delays, and recovery plans.
  • Coordinate planning activities with contractors, consultants, client teams, and project stakeholders.
  • Lead schedule review meetings and programme performance discussions.
  • Support risk management activities through schedule risk identification and mitigation planning.
  • Collaborate with commercial and project controls teams to align schedule and cost reporting.
  • Mentor and develop planning engineers and junior project controls professionals.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, systems, and reporting methodologies.
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, or project controls roles.
  • Extensive experience supporting large-scale Data Centre projects, ideally hyperscale or mission-critical facilities
  • Expert user of Primavera P6 and advanced project controls tools.
  • Proven experience developing and managing complex integrated master schedules.
  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Professional accreditation with APM, PMI, PSP, AACE, or equivalent is desirable.
  • Previous Middle East project experience is highly desirable.
