Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in budgeting, financial planning, cost control, reporting, and KPI tracking preferred.
  • Oil & Gas / Energy industry experience will be an advantage.
  • Good English communication skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Budget Compilation & KPI Development: Prepare and compile departmental budgets, operating plans, manpower budgets and related documents. Develop and track departmental KPIs aligned with financial and operational goals.
  • Budget Guidance & Administration: Support sections with budget preparation, AFE procedures and budget control administration. Maintain and verify budget expenditure records. Monitor actual spending against approved budgets and provide timely updates.
  • Long-Term Planning: Prepare long-range budgetary and operational requirements aligned with the department's five-year business plan.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Track budget spending and KPI performance. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual budget KPI performance reports. Develop accrual reports, NDE & capital expenditure reports. Invoice & Audit Management. Process contractor invoices. Support audit activities and evaluate procedures for cost efficiency.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with internal departments and divisions for planning, reporting and controlling information.

Position: Planning & Budget Officer

Job Purpose: The Planning & Budget Officer will support the department's fiscal strategy by managing budget preparation, long-term planning, KPI development, budget tracking, financial reporting and coordination with various divisions to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
