Job summary

Tuwaiq Casting & Forging Company seeks a Pattern Maker to design, fabricate, and inspect wooden patterns for casting processes. You will study drawings, fabricate patterns and core boxes, and perform repairs to ensure accuracy against approved drawings.

Role requires 5+ years in wooden pattern making, experience with woodworking machines, and knowledge of API standards applied to casting metallurgy. On-site position in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Ability to plan wood pattern methods and optimize fabrication.
• Capable of pattern dimensional inspection and accuracy checks.
• Knowledge of metal materials used in casting pattern work.
• Familiarity with API standards and their application to casting metallurgy.
• Understanding of API 20A requirements and practical use in production.

Responsibilities

• Study drawings and pattern design requirements before fabrication.
• Manufacture and mount wooden, resin, and metal patterns and core boxes per drawings.
• Carry out repair, modification, and maintenance of existing patterns.
• Conduct dimensional inspection of patterns for shrinkage, machining, draft angles, and parting lines.
• Support trial activities and incorporate technical feedback.
• Pattern identification, storage, and preservation; ensure safety and 5S compliance.
