Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Packaging Operator to operate and monitor packaging lines, ensuring production targets are met and line efficiency is optimized. You will conduct hourly checks, maintain hygiene, and report issues to managers while adhering to GMP and OH&S standards.

The role requires at least 1 year packing machine experience, an ITI or Diploma preferred, and a proactive, quality-focused mindset. On-site position in Saudi Arabia, with safety and efficiency at the core.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year packing machine experience.
• Preferred industrial training institute graduate (ITI) or Diploma.
• Basic communication skills.
• Should have a good working attitude.
• Relevant tertiary qualification

Responsibilities

• Make sure that the machine achieves the required efficiency set by the department.
• Achieve the material efficiency target set by the department.
• Achieve the grams give away target set by the department.
• Manage the packers working under his tubes (break time, cleaning during change flavour, time in and time out)
• Maintain his machine in good condition at all times, by conducting the proper bag maker & Ishida machine maintenance checklist.
• Always maintain his workplace & machine clean (GMP).
• Report all health hazards within his work place to his immediate Direct Manager.
• Make sure that quality packets are produced at all times.
• Attend quality wall at least fifteen (15) times per month.
• To implement, sustain and participate in the continual improvement of the OH&S Management System (MS) at area of responsibility in accordance to the legislations, PepsiCo GEHSMS and relevant EHS standards, ensuring proper controls for all hazards and risks associated with all activities/areas are in place and OH&S targets are achieved
