Job summary

Hamad Bin Abdullah Al-Manea Company in Saudi Arabia invites an Orthodontist to join a dedicated medical team. You will diagnose malocclusion, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide orthodontic care using standard techniques and devices.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, ensuring quality outcomes, and documenting all clinical information in patient records. You will collaborate with other dental specialists while upholding infection control and regulatory

Qualifications

• Must hold a BDS or equivalent and orthodontics specialty qualification.
• Registered with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as an orthodontic specialist.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary medical team.
• Excellent communication with patients and colleagues in Arabic and English.
• Commitment to professional ethics and standard infection control.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose malocclusion and jaw alignment issues.
• Develop treatment plans specific to each patient.
• Deliver orthodontic treatments with appropriate devices and techniques.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Evaluate outcomes to meet therapeutic objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose cases of malocclusion and problems with tooth and jaw alignment.

• Develop specialized treatment plans appropriate to each patient’s condition.

• Provide orthodontic treatments using the appropriate techniques and devices for the case.

• Monitor case progress and make the necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

• Evaluate treatment outcomes and ensure that therapeutic objectives are achieved.

• Document the diagnosis, treatment plan, and medical procedures in the medical file.

• Educate patients about the details of the treatment plan and care instructions during the orthodontic period.

• Coordinate with dentists and other specialties when needed.

• Comply with infection control standards, patient safety, and the facility’s policies.

• Comply with the scope of professional practice approved by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry (BDS or equivalent).

• A recognized qualification in the Orthodontics specialty.

• Valid professional classification and registration from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as an orthodontic specialist.

• Professional experience in orthodontics is an added advantage.

• Proficiency in Arabic and English.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build a professional relationship with patients.

• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary medical team.
