Job summary

Hamad Bin Abdullah Al-Manea Company in Saudi Arabia invites a qualified prosthodontist to join a multidisciplinary medical team. You will diagnose tooth loss and damage, develop restorations, and coordinate with dental labs to ensure precise crowns, bridges, and prostheses.

The role requires a BDS or equivalent, a recognized prosthodontics specialty, Saudi Commission registration, strong diagnostic and planning skills, and excellent patient communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dentistry (BDS or equivalent).
• Specialty qualification in Dental Prosthodontics / Prosthodontics.
• Saudi Commission for Health Specialties registration as a dental prosthodontist.
• Experience in dental prosthodontics and replacements.
• Good diagnostic and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and patient-handling skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary medical team.
• Commitment to ethics, quality standards, and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose cases of tooth loss and damage, and assess patients’ treatment needs.
• Develop appropriate treatment plans for prosthodontic cases.
• Implement fixed and removable prosthodontic treatments.
• Provide crowns, bridges, and suitable dental prostheses.
• Coordinate with the dental laboratory for prosthesis quality and accuracy.
• Follow up with patients after prosthesis placement and perform adjustments.
• Explain the treatment plan, procedures, and expectations to the patient.
• Document diagnosis, treatment plan, and procedures in the medical file.
• Collaborate with dentists and specialties when needed.
• Comply with infection control, patient safety, and facility policies.
• Comply with Saudi Commission for Health Specialties classification and scope.

Job description

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose cases of tooth loss and damage, and assess patients’ treatment needs.

• Develop appropriate treatment plans for cases involving dental restorations and prosthetic replacements.

• Implement and follow up on fixed and removable prosthodontic treatments within the scope of the specialty.

• Provide services for crowns, bridges, and suitable dental prostheses for the patient’s condition.

• Assess cases that require advanced aesthetic and restorative solutions.

• Take measurements, assess occlusion, and coordinate with the dental laboratory to ensure the quality and accuracy of prostheses.

• Follow up with patients after the placement of prostheses and perform the necessary adjustments.

• Clearly explain the treatment plan, procedures, and expectations to the patient.

• Document the diagnosis, treatment plan, and procedures in the medical file.

• Collaborate with dentists and other specialties when needed.

• Comply with infection control standards, patient safety, and the facility’s policies.

• Comply with the scope of professional practice and the classification approved by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry (BDS or equivalent).

• A recognized specialty qualification in Dental Prosthodontics / Prosthodontics.

• Valid professional classification and registration from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a dental prosthodontist.

• Appropriate professional experience in the field of dental prosthodontics and replacements.

• Good diagnostic and treatment planning skills.

• Excellent communication and patient-handling skills.

• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary medical team.
