Job summary

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare is seeking an ophthalmologist to provide comprehensive eye care for employees and dependents. You will diagnose, treat, and manage medical and surgical eye conditions, order diagnostic tests, and perform elective and emergency surgeries as part of a collaborative ophthalmology team.

The role requires board certification, a valid medical license, and fluency in English. On-call coverage and participation in group discussions on complex cases are expected to ensure

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved medical school.
• Board Certification by the American Board, or the Canadian Royal College of Physicians or equivalent.
• One year internship in a recognized training program.
• Two years of Fellowship training.
• Ophthalmology board certification from SCFHS & JHAH HR.
• Three years of practice in ophthalmology after board certification.
• Must hold a valid license to practice medicine.
• Excellent command of English (verbal and written).
• Ability to work in a group medical practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide full ophthalmological care for patients and dependents.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat medical and surgical eye conditions.
• Order tests to diagnose and manage eye diseases.
• Perform non-invasive and invasive eye procedures.
• Conduct elective and emergency eye surgeries as required.
• Take on-call coverage for emergencies per schedule.
• Consult with other physicians and specialists as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and confidentiality.
