Job summary

kafaat recruitment seeks an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in construction and project management to oversee our operational and project activities. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate contractors and suppliers, monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field
• 10-15 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong background in construction and project management
• Experience managing construction projects and multidisciplinary teams
• Experience in planning, execution, cost control, scheduling, and resource management

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational activities related to construction and project execution
• Manage multiple projects ensuring delivery per scope, budget, schedule, and quality
• Develop and implement operational plans and project execution strategies
• Monitor progress, identify delays or risks, and implement corrective actions
• Lead and coordinate project teams, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and stakeholders
• Review project schedules, budgets, manpower, procurement, and resource allocation
• Ensure coordination between construction, engineering, procurement, commercial and support functions
• Monitor project costs and ensure operations stay within budgets
• Review performance reports and provide updates to senior management
• Ensure compliance with construction standards, company policies, contractual requirements and HSE Regulations
• Manage relationships with contractors, consultants, clients and other key stakeholders
• Resolve operational and project-related issues and elevate critical matters as needed
• Support tendering, project mobilization, and resource planning activities
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, productivity, cost control and project performance
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting and close-out of projects
• Provide leadership, guidance and performance management to project and operational teams
