Job summary

UCC Holding is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee daily site operations and ensure safe, efficient project execution in accordance with specifications and schedules.

Responsibilities include supervising subcontractors, coordinating resources, enforcing HSE policies, and driving on-site QA/QC and safety improvements to achieve on-time handover and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related technical field (Civil/Arch).
• 8+ years construction experience; at least 5 years in a Construction Supervisor or similar role.
• GCC experience is a plus.
• Experience supervising large-scale building/infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment.
• Understanding of HSE, QA/QC, and risk management.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in project planning, cost control, and site management.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities to meet specs, schedules and quality.
• Direct and monitor subcontractors ensuring safe, efficient work.
• Ensure timely material requisitions and resource availability for schedules.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address safety hazards.
• Enforce HSE regulations and company safety policies on site.
• Investigate and report site incidents per procedures.
• Supervise excavation, dewatering, shoring and foundation works.
• Coordinate concrete, masonry, carpentry, brickwork, backfilling, pipe laying, chamber, shuttering activities.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to resolve issues.
• Carry out progressive punch listing and ensure timely handover of outstanding works.
• Monitor workforce attendance, productivity and performance.
• Conduct toolbox talks and pre-start meetings to promote safety.
• Support implementation of HSE initiatives and incident reporting.
• Maintain and utilize construction equipment and site resources effectively.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering or a related technical discipline Civil or Arch
• Minimum 8 years of construction experience, including at least 5 years in a Construction Supervisor or similar site supervision role.
• GCC experience is an advantage.
• Proven experience supervising large-scale building and infrastructure construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, material specifications, and construction equipment.
• Solid understanding of HSE regulations, QA/QC procedures, and risk management.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
• Proficiency in project planning, cost control, and construction site management.
• Experience using ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
