Job summary

IMAR Overseas KSA is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (Civil Engineer) to lead planning, execution, and delivery of major construction projects in Saudi Arabia. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, schedules, QA/QC, HSE, and client communications to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You should have at least 20 years of construction experience, PMP is an advantage, GCC/KSA experience preferred, and a proven track record with reputable contractors in large-scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering mandatory.
• 20+ years overall construction experience with PM experience.
• Experience with reputable main/general contractors.
• Experience managing large-scale construction/high-end fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of QA/QC, HSE, cost control, procurement, contracts, and commercial management.
• Leadership of multidisciplinary teams; strong client management.
• GCC/KSA experience preferred; PMP is an advantage.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (Civil Engineer) to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

About the Role

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and supervise all project activities from design review to handover.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
• Ensure project delivery within scope, cost, and schedule constraints.
• Oversee site execution and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and contractual standards.
• Manage subcontractors, consultants, and client communications.
• Conduct regular project progress meetings and issue status reports.
• Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and material selections.
• Monitor and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and control.
• Coordinate with the commercial and procurement teams for project requirements.
• Foster collaboration between engineering, procurement, and execution teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 20 years of overall construction experience, with significant experience in a Project Manager capacity.
• Strong experience with reputable main contractors / general contractors.
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction and/or high-end fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, planning, cost control, contracts, procurement, commercial management, QA/QC, and HSE.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary project teams and multiple subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of project financial and commercial performance, including variations and claims.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and client-management skills.
• GCC/KSA experience is highly preferred.
• PMP certification is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and take full ownership of project delivery.
